Elders' & Ministers' Wives Co-Chairperson

Evangelist Celisa Jackson is a native of Toledo, Ohio, and the devoted daughter of Mrs. Delores Carter.  God providentially orchestrated Evangelist Jackson meeting and marrying the love of her life Elder Philip R Jackson II on April 8, 1995.  Their happy union produced three sons, Philip III, Brandon, and Kyle.  Evangelist Jackson is daughter-in-love to Bishop Philip R. Jackson and Assistant Supervisor Delores Jackson and thanks to God for the beautiful family that He has blessed her to have.

 

Evangelist Jackson is saved, sanctified, baptized, and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost.  Evangelist Jackson earned an Associate Degree in Christian Leadership from Tripp Bible Institute.  At present in her professional career, Evangelist Jackson is a Branch Manager Assistant Vice-President for Flagstar Bank.  Evangelist Jackson has worked in the banking industry since 1993 and she loves her job.  God has gifted Evangelist Jackson with creative versatility in her abilities and talents, which has afforded her the privilege of serving as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant for 22 years.  She continues to promote this craft as an avenue of ministry to educate and encourage women of all walks of life.

 

In addition to her secular duties Evangelist Jackson is a devoted servant to God and His people in various areas of ministry in her Local Church (Greater Seth Temple Sanctuary of Praise Church of God in Christ), District (District No. 3), and Jurisdiction (Michigan Southwest First) in the following areas: Local President, Elders' & Ministers' Wives Circle;  President, District No. 3 Hospitality Unit; and Jurisdictional Adjutant Sister, Jurisdictional Adjutancy Corp, and  Support Staff, Jurisdictional Elders' and Ministers' Wives Circle to name a few.

 

In 2012, under the purview of the General Supervisor Mother Willie Mae Rivers, International Department of Women Church of God in Christ, Evangelist Jackson was appointed as the1st Vice President of the International Elders’ & Ministers’ Wives Circle, under the leadership and recommendation of the Mother Sarah L. Butler President.  Evangelist Jackson faithfully served in that position for six years.  As of February 2018, Evangelist Jackson was appointed by the current General Supervisor Mother Barbara McCoo Lewis to serve as Co-Chairperson of the Elders & Ministers’ Wives Circle. 

 

In all that she does, Evangelist Jackson desires to please the Lord.  The theme of her life is found in Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.”  Evangelist Jackson lives to that the praise of God’s glory will be continually shown forth not only with her voice but also with her vocation.

Encourage each other socially in a non-judgemental atmosphere to allow interaction which rids loneliness, isolation and stress.
